Bill Miller Appointed by Speaker Cameron Sexton to Tennessee Joint Capital Tourism Board
Bill Miller, founder and CEO of Icon Entertainment & Hospitality Group and one of Tennessee's leading tourism and hospitality executives, has been appointed by Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton to serve on the newly established Joint Capital Tourism Board.
The appointment was made pursuant to Public Chapter 1079 of the Public Acts of 2026, with Miller's term extending through June 30, 2029.
Speaker Cameron Sexton praised Miller's appointment, citing his longstanding contributions to Nashville's business and tourism community.
"Bill Miller is a vital part of downtown Nashville through his many businesses as well as his strong desire to have a strong and vibrant city," said Speaker Sexton. "He is a vocal advocate for local businesses, stays focused on expanding tourism, and strives to make Nashville the best city to visit. Bill Miller will be a strong leader and member on the new board."
Bill Miller is one of Nashville's most recognized tourism and hospitality leaders, having spent more than a decade building businesses that have helped shape Nashville's tourism industry and strengthen the city's position as a premier destination for visitors from around the world. Through Icon Entertainment & Hospitality Group, he oversees a portfolio of nationally recognized destinations, including the Johnny Cash Museum, House of Cards, Sinatra Bar & Lounge, Skull's Rainbow Room, Nudie's Honky Tonk, and other hospitality and entertainment ventures that attract visitors from around the globe.

The board's work will help ensure those investments strengthen infrastructure, enhance the visitor experience, and generate long-term economic benefits.
